The Commonwealth Club of California
The Commonwealth Club of California is the nation's oldest and
largest public affairs forum. A nonprofit, nonpartisan organization
with more than 18,000 members, it organizes more than 450 annual
speeches, debates, and discussions on topics ranging across politics,
culture, society and the economy. The Club’s weekly radio program
— the nation’s longest-running continuous radio show — is heard on
about 150 stations nationwide, and it also disseminates its programs
via television, satellite radio, internet video, podcasts, and print.
The Club has offices in San Francisco and San Jose, with regular
events in both cities, as well as programs in the East and North Bay. |
