Alex joined Voyager’s Seattle office in January 2015. She is as an executive assistant to James Newell, Randall Lucas, and Bill Hughlett. She also dedicates much of her efforts toward general administrative support, office operations, and event planning.
Prior to joining Voyager, Alex was a marketing communications and online fundraising intern with Autism Pensacola, a non-profit serving families with autism in the Northwest Florida area. In Pensacola, she also served as the development chair for Special Olympics Florida - Escambia County. While she was the development chair, she contributed her talents in marketing communications, fundraising and event planning. She previously worked as a marketing assistant for an e-retail startup company and as a front office assistant at a dental practice.
Alex has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Comprehensive Marketing and a certificate in Marketing Technology from the University of West Florida. She was a member of the Marketing and Logistics Association. During a summer exchange program, she studied Customer Relationship Management at the Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences in Mikkeli, Finland. In addition to her work, Alex enjoys hiking, Pilates and supporting the arts.
