Trent Dawson, Director of Finance
Trent is responsible for the accounting and tax functions of the Voyager Funds and Management Company. Prior to joining Voyager, Trent was part of the fund administration team for Schroders (Bermuda) Limited on the island of Bermuda and managed the accounting and tax functions of private equity and venture capital funds located around the world. With Schroders, he obtained a deep knowledge of partnership accounting and tax, fund formation and portfolio valuation.
He started his career with Ernst & Young, LLP in Dallas, Texas performing audits and consulting work for technology companies and gained experience in the IPO process and SEC reporting. He continued his work with Ernst & Young in Bermuda, where he focused on audit and tax of various alternative investment funds and their management companies.
Trent graduated cum laude with a B.A. in accounting from the University of Texas at Tyler and has been a Certified Public Accountant since February 2000.
