Erik has spent over fifteen years in the venture capital and private equity businesses. Prior to joining Voyager in 1998, he was president of a digital media startup called Mimix, an EIR with WRF Capital, and an associate in Chemical Bank's private equity and acquisition finance groups.

 

At Voyager, Erik focuses on making investments in software, interactive advertising and digital media companies. He is currently on the board of directors of AboutUs, Covario, Elemental Technologies, Ground Truth, and Kryptiq. He previously sourced Voyager's investment in Avenue A (acquired by Microsoft) and sat on the board of Capital Stream (acquired by HCL Technologies).
 
Erik has an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School and a BA from Pacific Lutheran University. He is a member of the board of trustees of the Nordic Heritage Museum in Seattle.
