Randall has been an entrepreneur and investor since 2001, primarily in the areas of analytics software and financial technology. He focuses on new investments in Washington and British Columbia, and is an observer on the boards of Zipwhip, TurboPatent, and Kaggle, and a director of WellnessFX.
Prior to rejoining Voyager in 2015, Randall focused on starting or funding early stage technology companies. He was a founder or operating executive of a number of startups, including Simple Verity, Lighter Capital, and SuperSurvey. He previously served in a board advisory role with Blue Box Group (acquired by IBM) and board observer roles with Elemental Technologies (acquired by Amazon), and AboutUs (acquired). Currently, he serves as a board observer for Shiftboard, TurboPatent, Zipwhip.
Randall earned an A.B. in History of Science from Harvard College, where he rowed on the heavyweight crew. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
