Ken Hunt

Ken is the founder of Fiber, Field & Fork, a firm focused on revenue-driven business development, capital strategy, and advisory support for companies in the agriculture, food, and textile industries.

Ken has served as CEO and President of multiple companies including Anawah, Phytelligence, SoilSoup, and Produxs, leading organizations from early-stage development through commercialization and scale. He has been responsible for operations ranging from startups to businesses including the Hanes Her Way Casualwear brand, with over $200M in annual revenue.  He subsequently joined Monsanto (now part of Bayer), where he was recruited to work alongside biologists to improve cotton for the textile industry—marking the start of his thirty year career in agriculture.

Ken is a Principal Advisor with the LARTA Institute, where he mentors 6–8 companies annually in securing USDA SBIR Phase II funding. He also works with funded companies to deploy TABA resources to accelerate commercialization and business development.

In addition, Ken has served on multiple nonprofit boards both within and outside the agriculture sector and has supported a number of angel investment groups and venture capital firms, advising and evaluating early-stage companies in agriculture, food, and related industries.

Ken holds JD, MBA, and BA degrees from Wake Forest University.
